Opp’s Channel-Lee Stadium will get its final inspection today, Opp City Schools Superintendent Michael Smithart said Tuesday.

Smithart said the stadium renovation project has lasted a long time, but officials were able to make some minor changes and since football season is over there were no time constraints.

“Mr. Alan Catrett has been really great to work with,” Smithart said.

The city is expected to debut the stadium with the 51st annual Rattlesnake Rodeo set for April 1 and 2.
