Diners at Hilltop Meat Co. & Restaurant should soon be able to have a glass of wine with their dinner.

The Covington County Commission approved a retail wine license Monday for the Gantt retailer.

Commissioners said it was their understanding the establishment would sell wine for off-premise consumption, as well as on-site consumption in the restaurant.
