Benton H. Persons, who has practiced in Andalusia for some 30 years, announces the addition of ChaLea Tisdale to his firm.

Tisdale, formerly a solo practitioner in Covington County and more recently an assistant district attorney, is a native of the community. The two formed a partnership on Jan. 18, 2011, after Tisdale left the DA’s office.

Persons & Tisdale offers a number of legal services, including civil actions, criminal defense, bankruptcy and debt relief, disability and family law/domestic relations.

“I am very proud to have ChaLea on staff,” Persons said. “She has the drive, ambition and skill needed to make a successful legal career.”

As for Tisdale, she said, “Benton has a lot to offer a young attorney. His experience and knowledge are invaluable, and I look forward to the future of this partnership.”

The firm is located at 5 East Court Square, which is on the square in the Murphy Building.
