The Mizell Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced its entertainment for the annual gala.

Comedian and ventriloquist Taylor Mason will hit the stage Aug. 11.

Mason has a unique act, which combines comedy, music and the fading act of ventriloquism.

The show will be family friendly.

Mason was raised in a Christian home, where family values and faith-based principles are at the core of what he does.

The gala, which is the primary fundraiser for the foundation, is used to fund the operational costs of the Wellness Cneter.

The program includes a seated dinner followed by entertainment, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Opp First Baptist Church Fellowship Center on Whaley Street.
