In the final basketball poll of the 2010-11 season that was released today by the Alabama Sports Writers Association, the Andalusia Bulldogs remain No. 2 in the state in Class 4A.

Andalusia has held the No. 2 ranking since Jan. 5.

The Bulldogs improved to 27-2 with an 83-56 win over Opp last Friday night.

Andalusia will play host to the Class 4A, Area 3 tournament, which begins Friday night.

In varsity girls, the Lady Bulldogs (22-4) still remain in the No. 9 spot, a position they have held since Jan. 12.
