Rick and Jilda Watson will bring their art of music, writing and entertainment to Opp at 7 p.m. tonight, Sat., Feb. 26, when they perform at the Opp Cultural Arts Council, located on 107 N. Main St.

The Watsons are singer songwriters and folk artists from Empire, in Walker County, Ala.

“We are excited to have Rick and Jilda kick off our season of music in Opp,” Wes Laird said, who is helping organize and book events all year with the Cultural Arts Council. “This will be our first show in our downtown venue, which is a work in progress itself. We hope everyone will come out and support this effort to have quality entertainment at home.”

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
