The City of Opp and the City School System are asking groups to pitch in and help with continued efforts to revitalize Channel-Lee Stadium.

“There are specific areas where individuals can contribute,” said Superintendent Michael Smithart. “It’s part of our comprehensive plan to revitalize the stadium.”

Smithart said for groups interested in helping, school officials will provide plans those who wish to take on a specific project.

“We provide the plans because any work that is done must adhere to the specifications we have established in order to maintain the continuity of the project,” he said.
