Butler earns top finishes

Allen Butler walked away with two second place finishes and one third place finish at the 46th annual American Karate Association Grand Nationals at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago.

The tournament is a part of the North American Sport Karate Association’s (NASKA) national tournament circuit.

Butler is a student of the Andalusia Isshinryu Karate class and competed in the youth black belt division.

He finished second place in the non-naska youth black belt weapons and forms categories.

Butler’s third place finish was in the NASKA youth black belt fighting category.

NASKA is the largest sport karate circuit in the United States.

Butler trains at Andalusia Isshinryu Karate under the instruction of Mark Rudd.
