Lt. Paul Dean of the Andalusia Police Department said a press conference is set for today to release details surrounding the case. He would not say if the case involves local students.

While Andalusia City Schools Superintendent Ted Watson declined to comment on the case, he did state Caudle has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the case.

Watson said he also plans to speak at today’s press conference.

Caudle was booked into the Covington County Jail and is being held on a $1 million bond.

The Star-News will post feeds to Facebook during the press conference and update the Web site immediately afterward with more details of this story.
