Andalusia Elementary School students partook of a plesant pick of poultry and pork in honor of Dr. Suess’ birthday Wednesday. The students joined others across the nation to enjoy a lunch of green eggs and ham in celebration of the famed children’s author as part of the Read Across America initiative. Top: See, those eggs were really green said Cade Lawson and LaPree Billips, who are shown with Daniel Bryan and Ban Li, all students in Mrs. Cofield’s class.  Wednesday was day three of activities at AES. Today children will say, ‘Good sports always read’ and will sport their athletic attire. On Friday, students will wear their Bulldog attire and ‘put their paws on a good book.’
