Saints split with Huntingdon

The Saints split with Huntingdon College in doubleheader action Thursday in Montgomery.

Huntingdon won the first game 17-7, but LBWCC capped the day winning the second game 12-5.

Huntingdon 17, LBWCC 7

Josh Thompson was 4-for-4 with one run; David Carter was 1-for-3 with one run, one RBI and one triple; and Jeremy Reeves was 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Keelin Alsobrooks was the losing pitcher for the Saints.

LBWCC 12, Huntingdon 5

Carter was 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBIs, one double and two triples; Thompson was 2-for-4 with two runs and a stolen base; Luke Miller was 2-for-4 with two RBIs; and Austin Mason was 1-for-3 with three runs.

Chris Barrentine earned the win for the Saints on the mound.

The Saints will play host to Southern Union in a doubleheader today. The first pitch for the conference games will be at 1 p.m. at Crum Foshee Field.
