Mr. and Mrs. James Bates (nee Gwen Roberts) Young of Natchez, Miss., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Noble-Bates, to William Andrew Greenwald.

The bride is the granddaughter of the Jimmy Rodger Young and the late Mrs. Young and the late Mrs. Shirley McDonald Roberts.

She is a 2006 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and Louisiana State University, where she earned a degree in sports administration.

The groom-elect is the son of Mrs. Mickey Pigg and Mr. William Ellis Greenwald of Andalusia.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Beau Greenwald, and the late Mr. Greenwald and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holston.

He is a 2005 graduate of Holy Savior Menard Central High and Louisiana State University, where he earned a degree in finance. He is employed with Edward Jones Investments.

The wedding is planned for March 12, 2011.
