County will miss Seth

I always look forward to my copy of The Star-News. It seems that almost every week your subscribers would read an account of something new being announced for Covington County. I’m not saying that Seth Hammett never had help, but we all know that he certainly had a hand in most of it.

I have really enjoyed watching Seth and his successful legislative career over all these years. Once I asked him to run for governor. His response was, “Why? What I’ve got isn’t too bad.” I agreed and said that I would never mention it again.

Now, Gov. Bentley has made Seth the state’s ADO director. Just one more example of how smart Seth is, and how others recognize his abilities to work with all sides of any issue.

Seth, I just want to say “thank you” for all you’ve done for our county.
