PHS boys beat Florala

Pleasant Home beat county rival Florala 6-3 in regular season baseball action Tuesday night.

Eagles winning pitcher Fernando Torres allowed four hits in 6.1 innings, and had four strikeouts.

Hunter Weaver was 1-for-3 and had three RBIs; and Colter Poole and Torres were 2-for-3 each.

Sid Newby came in to relieve Torres, and earned the save.

The Eagles (2-2) will play host to St. Luke’s Episcopal School on Saturday in a doubleheader. The first pitch will be at noon.
