The 16th annual Alligator Trot 5K Road Race and Walk will take place Sat., June 18 at 8 a.m. at Florala’s State Park.

The trot is the only 5,000 meter run in two states in conjunction with the 141st Masonic Celebration.

The run begins at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street, and runners proceed around Lake Jackson into Florida and back into Alabama finishing at 916 Lake Drive.

The pre-registration fee is $15, and race day registration is $20.
