He was born Feb. 18, 2011, and weighed 5 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18.75 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Mark and Debbie Biggs of Rose Hill.

His paternal grandparents are Rod and Glenda Sanders of Andalusia.

Great grandparents are Charles Jeffcoat, Sandra Poe, Ramana Hammett and Lawrence and Bernadine Rushing.

Daniel and Christy Nelson of Montgomery announce the birth of their son, Daniel Alexander “Alex” Nelson Jr.

He was born Feb. 1, 2011, at 10:44 a.m. at Baptist East Hospital in Montgomery. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Robert and Jean Smithart of Andalusia.

His paternal grandparents are Craig and Marie Nelson of Millbrook.
