Straughn’s baseball team moved to the No. 2 spot in Class 4A in the recent Alabama Sports Writers Association poll that was released today.

The Tigers (19-4) beat Class 5A Carroll-Ozark Monday night in a doubleheader, and swept Ashford last week in area play.

Straughn will play host to Headland tonight at 5 p.m. in area action.
