Red Level wasn’t about to give any mercy to Georgiana Friday night.

The Tigers beat the Panthers 12-0 in five innings, and Hayden Dubose threw a two-hitter to get the win.

“We came out a little flat, but did what we had to do to win,” RLS head baseball coach Tony Ingram said. “I can’t complain about that.”

After Friday night’s win, Red Level has won seven games this season, and awaits the Class 2A, Area 2 results next week to see if it made the playoffs this year.

Red Level’s Richard Chauvin got the save for the Tigers.

Red Level will travel to play Samson in area action next Monday at 4 p.m.

Then on Friday, the Tigers will play host to New Brockton in area action.

“We need to come out with intensity like (Thursday night) no matter who the opponent is,” Ingram said.
