Mr. and Mrs. John Alan Williams announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Katherine, to Andrew Horton Bartlett, son of Dr. and Mrs. Jimmy Dale Bartlett, all of Vestavia Hills.

The bride-elect is a 2010 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Alabama, where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.

She is employed by Taylor Publishing Company in Birmingham.

She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Robert Roland of Andalusia and Mr. Curtis McCoy Williams and the late Mrs. Betty Tollison Williams of Red Level.

The prospective groom is a 2007 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Alabama.

He will graduate from the UAB School of Medicine in May.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Arnold Lundberg of Vestavia Hills; Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Bartlett of Fort Smith, Ark., and the Rev. Oran Lee Bartlett of McAlester, Okla.

The wedding will take place June 4, 2011 at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham.
