SHELBORN BROOKS

Shelborn Brooks, 71, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., July 5, 2011, in a Crestview, Fla., nursing facility.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm., Fri., July 11, at Keahey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery.

Family will receive friends tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, James and Renee Brooks of

Crestview, Fla.; daughters and son-in-law, Dennise Brooks of Panama City, Fla., Shellie Brooks and Kellie (Stephen) Isbell, all of Spanish Fort; brother, Harry Brooks of Montgomery; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ashly Watson, Alan Watson, Phillip Kilcrease and Chris Carwley.

JACK LEE JR.

Jack Lee Jr., 82, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., July 3, 2011, at his residence.

Funeral services were held Wed., July 6, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel with a military chaplain officiating. The burial followed in the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery in the Damascus community with full military honors.

Memorial contributions maybe made to the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in the Damascus Community.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Deborah Lee of Wetumpka; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Lee of Andalusia and Brenda and Johnny Pouncey of Mobile; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Velma Lee of Elba and Jessie and Gussie Lee of Dothan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Syble and Alan McLaney of Newton, Glenda Anderson of Opp and Vivian Lee of Elba; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

GIDGET MADDOX

Gidget Maddox, 44, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., July 3, 2011, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm., today, Thurs., July 7, at Beda Baptist Church Cemetery in Wing with the Rev. Josh Wilson officiating.

Survivors include her significant other, John Borne of Andalusia; two sons, Chris (Sarah) Perry of Andalusia and Robert Perry of Florida; brother, Randy Maddox of Andalusia; two sisters, Myra (Don) Jackson of Andalusia and Anita Poston of Florida; and one grandchild, Alyssa Lynn Perry.

She was preceded in death by her son, William Harris.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Davis, D.J. Jackson, Mat Clay, Randy Maddox, John Borne and Chris Perry.
