Some 40 tickets are left for next Thursday night’s Mizell Gala.
Dot Findley of the hospital said tickets are going fast, and those who haven’t already purchased theirs should do so “before they run out.”
Ticket sales are expected to generate an estimated $30,000 for the Foundation, which is used to fund the operational costs of the Wellness Center.
The event will be held Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. at Opp’s First Baptist Church fellowship hall. Tickets are $50 each and include a prime rib dinner with “all the fixin’s” and entertainment.
Comedian and ventriloquist Taylor Mason is this year’s entertainment.
Mason has a unique act, which combines comedy, music and the fading art of ventriloquism.
The show will be family friendly.
This year’s event is Sunday dress, which means suit and tie for men and a dress for women.
Tickets may be purchased at the hospital or by calling 493-3541.
