Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Lee Grimes of Andalusia announce the engagement of their daughter, Christa Leigh Grimes of Andalusia, to Joseph Tod Moore of Tuscaloosa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Emil Moore of Tuscaloosa.

Miss Grimes is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hilda Goodson and the late Rev. William Goodson of Andalusia and Mrs. Beatrice Grimes and the late Mr. Leron Grimes of Opp.

She graduated from high school in 2004 and is employed as a sales manager at Goodys.

Mr. Moore is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Pate of Paul and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Moore of Tuscaloosa.

He is a 1992 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice and psychology. He is employed as purchasing/product manager at Covington Heavy Duty Parts in Andalusia.

The wedding will be at 2 p.m. on Sept. 3, 2011, at the Brooklyn Baptist Church.
