There are a host of Veterans Day activities scheduled today and tomorrow.

First, area schols will host their respective programs with Andalusia Middle School’s set for 10 a.m.; Pleasant Home’s at 9:50 a.m.; Red Level Elementary’s at 8 a.m.; Red Level High School’s at 10 a.m.; and Straughn Middle School’s at 10:20 a.m.

Tomorrow, the annual Veterans Day parade begins at Andalusia  High School at 9 a.m., followed by a ceremony with guest speaker Lt. Col. James Lawrence at the Covington County Veteran’s Memorial behind city hall.
