Barry and Joyce Elmore of Andalusia announce engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amanda Elmore, to Chris Jeffcoat, son of Wesley and Vanessa Jeffcoat of Andalusia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter Margaret Elmore and the late Joseph and Mary Edna Davis.

The prospective groom is grandson of Charles Jeffcoat and Sandra Poe and Melvin and LaWana Hughes.

Elmore is a 2009 graduate of Straughn High School, and Jeffcoat is a 2003 graduate of Straughn High School.

The wedding will take place Sat., Dec. 17, at Good News Baptist Chapel at 2 p.m.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
