Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Sims of Red Level is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jenny, to Alexander Luke McFarland, son of Lt. (USN, Ret.) and Mrs. Michail McFarland Sr. of Prattville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Mr. and Mrs. James A. Sims, and late Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Caton and the late Mrs. Eloise Sims.

She is a graduate of Red Level High School, and later the Baptist South School of Radiologic Technology. She is employed at Prattville Baptist Hospital.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Kyle Renfroe and the late Mr. E. Kyle Renfroe and the late Capt. Wilburn J. McFarland.

He is a graduate of Prattville High School and later Troy University. He is currently employed at Prattville Baptist Hospital and has plans to enter the U.S. Air Force.

The couple will wed on Dec. 3, 2011.
