MISS WYNONA POWELL

Miss Wynona Powell, 93, of Andalusia, died Fri., Dec. 9, 2011, in a local nursing facility.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sun., Dec. 11, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Stone Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Foreman’s.

Mrs. Powell is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

MRS. ELISABETH ELLENOR WEHRLY

Mrs. Elisabeth Ellenor Wehrly, 70, of Andalusia, died Thurs., Dec. 8, 2011, at her residence.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date by Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wehrly was officer club manager at Eglin Air Force Base for more than 20 years prior to retirement.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Marler of Andalusia; two sons, Michael Wehrly of Baker, Fla., and Pete Wehrly of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Pete Wells of New Port News, Va., and Marshall Wells of Colorado Springs, Colo.

BOBBY CURTIS CRAFT

Bobby Curtis Craft, 79, of Opp, died Thurs., Dec. 8, 2011, in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec. 3, 1932, in Pitt County, N.C. He was the oldest son of Lloyd E. and Edna Curtis Craft.

He joined the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Eventually, he was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base. He met and married Sara Frances Ward, his wife of 56 years, in 1955. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Opp, where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Sara; five children, Susan Russell, Robert (Cheryl) Craft, David (Gayle) Craft, Karen (Danny) Ayers and Greg (Suzanne) Craft; sister, Joyce Stocks; brother, Gene Craft; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Edna Craft; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Judson and Frances Ward.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., today, Sat., Dec. 10, from Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens. The family will begin receiving friends at 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Brother Randy Breedlove, Brother Phillip Morgan and Brother Brent Cook will be officiating, with special music performed by Annie Ball.
