Opp picked up its fourth win of the season with a 60-29 rout Kinston on Thursday night at OHS.

The Bobcats led 11-7 at the end of the first period, and outscored the Bulldogs 17-9 to lead 28-16 at half time.

Opp’s Tyler Elmore led the Bobcats with 12 points. Tavis Stoudemire had nine points, and Dane Buckelew and Tyler Mauer had eight points each. Tyler Ferguson had five points.

Opp will visit Luverne tonight for an area contest. The Bobcats are 1-1 in Class 3A, Area 2.

In girls action, the Lady Bobcats (8-4, 1-1) beat the Lady Bulldogs 54-18.
