At least two upcoming events will allow the public to meet and greet local candidates seeking office in March.

The group, all of whom are seeking office on the Republican ticket, will first be featured at a “meet the candidate” event on Jan. 31 at Oakwood Lodge from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. The event will feature a free barbecue dinner sponsored by the local Republican Party. To RSVP, call 334-222-1934.

The second will be held on Fri., Feb. 17, at 6 p.m., at Florala’s Rodney J. Evans Conference Center and is sponsored by the Republican Party and the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce.
