Any day now, governor will announce proration in the general fund, Sen. Jimmy Holley told a group in Andalusia last night.

Holley, an Elba Repub-lican, said the General Fund budget, which basically funds all state operations except education, was cut considerably when it was passed last year.

“But the corporate tax payments have not been as large as we thought,” he said. “As soon as we know the number, you can expect proration.”
