Becky Presnall of Whatley and Jimmie C. Patton of River Falls announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The wedding will be Sun., March 11, 2012, immediately following the morning worship service at Good News Baptist Chapel in Rose Hill. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.

Ms. Presnall’s most recent employment was as chief clerk of the probate court of Clarke County. She was then elected Probate Judge and served for eight years, retiring in 2009.

She has three children, David L. Presnall of Foster, Va.; Sandra P. Durham of Columbia, S.C.; and Stephen M. Presnall of Meridian, Miss., and 15 grandchildren.

Mr. Patton retired in 1983 after 21 years of service in the U.S. Navy. He was a senior chief radioman and was awarded the Department of Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his outstanding service and is a Vietnam veteran. He is currently on staff with Crossover Ministries in Opp.

He has one son, Richard D. Patton, also of River Falls, and two grandchildren.

The couple will reside in River Falls.
