Bobcats beat Brantley

The Opp Bobcats beat Class 1A’s top-ranked Brantley Monday night in regular season action.
Opp claimed the first game in a 9-0 win, and then the Bobcats beat the Bulldogs 4-2 in the night cap.
Dakota King, Brady Jowers and T.J. Bess pitched two innings each and allowed two hits each in the first game. King and Bess struck out two each for OHS.
Russell Mosley pitched one inning and allowed no hits.
Brady Vidich went 2-for-3 to lead the Bobcats. T.J. Register went 2-for-4.
Opp scored seven runs in the first two innings against the Bulldogs.
In the second game, Opp’s Justin Adkins pitched three innings, struck out two batters, walked one and allowed one hit for OHS.
Colt Harrell pitched four innings and struck out five batters, while walking one and allowing two hits.
