41 enter guilty pleas last month

Some 40-plus cases were disposed of in June by the Covington County District Attorney’s office – the majority of which were drug-related, figures showed.

Those entering guilty pleas include:

• Kenya Adkins, on the charge of theft of property II and sentenced to five years in prison.

• Samantha Selena Stokes Bailey, on the charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and entered into drug court.

• Jason Barth, on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana I and entered drug court.

• Charles Martin Beasley, on the charge of unlawful possession of marijuana I. He was sentenced to six years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 14.

• Cornelius D. Byrd, on the charge of distribution of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

• Sara Rae Bell, on the charge of distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 12 years in prison.

• Joshua S. Berry, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. He entered drug court.

• Guy A. Bolling, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 32 months in prison. In a separate case, he pled to theft of property II and was sentenced to 31 months in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 9 in both cases.

• David Lee Brooks, on the charge of manufacturing a controlled substance II and in a separate case, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison in both cases.

• Michael D. Crenshaw, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 years in prison; however, he has applied for probation. No hearing date is set.

• Terry Curry, on the charge of distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 12 years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 14.

• Michael D. Davis, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and was given five years probation.

William E. Eldridge, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to five years probation.

• Henry R. Finedore, on the charge of possession of marijuana I. H was sentenced to five years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 9.

• James Paul Haney, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. He entered drug court.

• Neena Hulsey, on the charge of illegal possession of a credit/debit card and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Tacomus D. James, on the charge of felony domestic violence III and sentenced to eight years in prison.

• Clayton O’Neal Johnson, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 15 years in prison; however, a probation hearing will be held at a later date.

• Donterious L. Johnson, on the charge of domestic violence II and, and in a separate case, on the charge of theft of property II. He was sentenced to six years in prison on each case.

• Cynthia Ann Koziara, on the charge of theft of property II and sentenced to 31 months in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Oct. 14.

• Lakamaron D. Lacey, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 32 months probation.

• Jeffery Ryan Lisenby, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance in two separate cases and was sentenced to 15 years in prison in each; however, a probation hearing will be set at a later date.

• Curtis Anthony Matthews Jr., on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and entered drug court.

• Richard Mock, on the charge of distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to eight years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 9.

• Edrick L. Montgomery, on the charge of distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Michael A. Moody, on the charge of manufacturing of a controlled substance II and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

• Joseph Martin Morris, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and entered into drug court.

• Douglas E. Nelson, on the charge of manufacturing of a controlled substance II and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

• April M. Phillips, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and entered into drug court.

• William Mark Pittman Jr., on the charge of burglary III and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

• Robbie Cameron Railey, on the charge of manufacturing of a controlled substance II and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Tony C. Scott, on the charge of possession of a forged instrument II and sentenced to five years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 14.

• Michael D. Straughn, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and entered into drug court.

• Phillip Wayne Ward, on the charge of burglary III and sentenced to two years probation.

• Eric H. Wiley, on the charge of burglary III and sentenced to five years in prison.

• Eddie L. Wright, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to five years in prison; however, a probation hearing is set for Aug. 9.

• Milton L. Wright, on the charge of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 years in prison.
