Covington County and Andalusia’s 8U and 10U Babe Ruth All-Star Softball teams cleaned house at the state tournament in Brewton on Friday.

In 8U action, Andalusia picked up three wins on Friday, beating Brewton 17-6; Atmore 12-0; and Covington County 10-7.

Covington County beat Atmore 10-0 in earlier action of the day.

In 10U action, Andalusia beat Atmore 26-1; Covington County beat Flomaton/East Brewton 13-3; Covington County beat Andalusia 22-9; and Andalusia came back and beat Brewton 22-12.

In 12 and under action, which is a double elimination tournament, Andalusia lost to Brewton, Covington County beat Atmore; Andalusia beat Atmore; and Covington County lost to Brewton.

On Thursday night, Covington County’s 14-year-old All-Stars beat N.W. Escambia 18-3.
