Eight teachers are providing instruction in classical ballet, pointe, pas de deux, modern dance, jazz and yoga.

They are also beginning to work on Coppelia, the story of a doll coming to life that is considered to be ballet’s great comedy, which will be presented next spring.

The students spend so much time in classes, that Gigi’s Tutu offered a meal plan with daily selections ranging from fresh chicken salad to Tabouleh, and has served lots of special orders for macaroni and cheese.

Summer Intensive will culminate with a performance, Summer Dances, at 7:30 p.m. on Fri., Aug. 3, at the Dixon Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of LBW.
