MARGARET MARIE LIPPS
Margaret Marie Lipps, 80, of Andalusia, passed away June 29, 2013, in a Dothan hospital.
Memorial services will be at 6:30 tonight, Tues., July 2, at the Andalusia Church of God on Brooklyn Road with the Rev. Glenn Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be at the church prior to and following the service.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Lipps; her daughter, Gloria Williams, both of Andalusia; her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Lipps of South Carolina and Tommy and Tina Lipps of Sumterville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, John W. Hicks of Leesburg, Fla.; two sisters, Elma Kirkland of Leesburg, Fla., and Ann Register of Tavares, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

CARMIA CANNON
Carmia Cannon, 85, of Andalusia, passed away on Sun., June 30, 2013, at her residence.
She was a long-standing member of Oakey Ridge Baptist Church, and she retired from the Southeast Alabama Gas District after 37 years of service.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Wed., July 3, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Douglas and the Rev. Eugene Meadows officiating and interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Richard Theus of Andalusia and Diane and Billy Black of Saraland; her stepchildren, Faye Meeks and Gary Cannon, both of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Amy and Jimmy Owen of Saraland, Nia and Ron Aplin of Wake Forest, N.C., Hollie McKinney Billcliffe of London, England, and Donna and David Austin of Empire; seven great-grandchildren; her step-grandchildren, Larone Brown, Julie Brown and Felicia and Brad Cook; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Cannon.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Mills, Ron Aplin, Jimmy Owen, Jeremy Jones, Larone Brown and Douglas Parrish.

BETTY JOYCE SCOFIELD SIGHTLER
Betty Joyce Scofield Sightler, 75, of the Stanley Community, passed away Fri., June 28, 2013.
Funeral services were held on Mon., July 1, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Eiland and the Rev. Merrill Davis officiating and interment following in Carolina Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, David Sightler of the Stanley Community; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Mike Wambles of Andalusia; her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Debra Scofield of Andalusia; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Tammy Sightler, Ricky and Gwen Sightler and Davey and Addie Sightler, all of Andalusia; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and her brothers and sister-in-law, Royce Frymire of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., Roger Frymire of Prattville and Richard Frymire, Feldman Frymire, and Ted and Mary Frymire, all of DeFuniak Springs, Fla.
Pallbearers were Randy Templeton, Brian Wambles, Wayne Frymire, Alan Smith, Sonny Hart and Josh Sightler
Honorary pallbearers were Preston Smith and Dalton Templeton.
