The Pleasant Home Eagles were “Roaring” and “soaring” Friday in honor of fellow classmate Kennedy Cleghorn, a freshman currently battling ovarian, and now kidney, cancer. The day was jam packed with a host of activities to bring awareness to not only Cleghorn’s fight, but also the issues of childhood cancer and ovarian cancer. The night was filled with yellow and teal balloons during the Eagles’ halftime bout against Georgiana. Earlier in the day, Cleghorn was able to “Facetime” in to watch the pep rally held in her honor, as she is undergoing chemotherapy and was unable to attend in person.
