The fourth person indicted this week for the nearly 20-year-old murder of James “Nibby” Barton is in custody.

Jailers confirmed to The Star-News that Sandra Ellison Lynn, 51, of Andalusia, was arrested Sunday and is charged with murder and first-degree robbery, as well as one count of negotiating a worthless instrument in a separate case. She is being held on a $1.003 million bond. Lynn is the “unnamed fourth person” identified Friday by District Attorney Walt Merrell in a press conference announcing that three people were arrested Thursday in the case – Eugene Wallace Black, Sheila Brooks and Sheila Walker.  Jailers confirmed that as of today, all remain in the county jail.

The Star-News will update this story as more information becomes available.
