BOBBIE BROWN

Bobbie Brown, 73, of Sanford, passed away on Mon., Dec. 30, 2013, at her residence.

She moved to Andalusia in 1962 with her husband, Sammy. In 1968, she began working as a beautician with Melba Kelley and continued until her retirement in 2000. Her friendship with Melba endured until the end.

She was a member of Oakey Ridge Baptist Church, loved flowers and gardening, and became a master gardener.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thu., Jan. 2, at Oakey Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Meadows and the Rev. Carl Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in Oakey Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 5:30 tonight at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Survivors include her husband, Sammy Brown; her daughters and son-in-law, Lynn Brown Lamere of Dothan and Lee Brown and Alan Watkins of Roswell, Ga.; her grandchildren, Samantha Lee Lamere, Rachael Ann Lamere, Madeline Louise Lamere, Alexander Brown Watkins and Turner Allen Watkins; and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Ray and Carol Coston of Panama City, Fla., and Andrew and Patricia Coston of Crestview, Fla.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Grover Coston.

Pallbearers will be Delmar Wiggins, Donald Dozier, Harold Elmore, Todd Inabinett, Jimmy Bass, Wayne Chavers and Bragg Carter.

CATHERINE HAM BAILEY CLEMENTS

Catherine Ham Bailey Clements, 86, of Andalusia, passed away on Mon., Dec. 30, 2013, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thu., Jan. 2, at Oakey Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Meadows and the Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating and interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 5:30 tonight at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church Thursday, 30 minutes prior to services.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Horace and Annette Bailey and Jeff and Robin Bailey, all of Andalusia; her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Jim Wood of Andalusia and Gayle and Horace Weeks of Kinston; her grandchildren, Amy Brown, Penelope Jones, Rob White, Lynn Boutwell, Sherry Griffin, Leigh Anne Whitehurst, Amanda Wise, Molly Bailey and A. J. Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Austin Whitehurst, Carl Whitehurst, Dalton Boutwell, Amber Boutwell, Jordin Boutwell, Levi Griffin, Annlee Wise, Cade Wise, Ethan Brown, Alex Brown and Hailey White; and one sister and brother-in-law, Totsie and M. L. Barton of Andalusia.

Pallbearers will be A.J. Bailey, Brian Jones, Mike Brown, Jordin Boutwell, Corey Wise and Rob White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Whitehurst and Tommy Griffin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakey Ridge Baptist Church.
