18-year-olds charged with rape

The Andalusia Police Department has charged two 18-year-olds with rape and sodomy.

Lt. Barney Tyree said the investigation began when a report of possible inappropriate sexual activity between a female less than 16 years of age but more than 12 years of age and an 18-year-old male.

Tyree said the report was filed on March 12, and the APD investigation revealed that two 18-year-olds were actually involved.

Quentin Lamar Livings, 18, was charged with rape second degree and one count of sodomy second degree on March 21, placed in the Covington County Jail on a $40,000 bond. Livings was charged with a second count of sodomy second degree on April 1, related to the same incident, with a $20,000 bond.

Austin Tyler Sutton, 18, was charged with rape second degree and two counts of sodomy second degree on April 3 relating to the same incident as Livings and placed into the Covington County Jail where he was held on a $60,000 bond.
