Arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail by the Covington County Sheriff’s Office – including the Florala, Lockhart, Red Level, Opp, Gantt and River Falls Police Departments Tues., April 8, 2014:

• Justin M. Griffin, 31, for open container and held on a $500 bond.

• Elliot J. Thornton, 27, for open container and held on a $500 bond.

• Corneshia Berry, 25, for municipal court order and held without bond.

• Robert Lee Johnson, 46, for failure to pay and negotiating a worthless instrument and held without bond.

• James Stpehenson Nord, 38, for negotiating a worthless instrument and held on a $3,000 bond.

• Heath M. Fountain, 35, for failure to appear in court and held on a $1,000 bond.

• Paul A. Daw, 19, for theft of property and grand jury indictments and held on a $230,000 bond.

• Heath M. Fountain, 35, for theft of property II and held on a $10,000 bond; and fleeing and eluding an officer and held on a $500 bond.
