Ready to have a rip-roaring good time out west?

The Andalusia Adult Activity Center will hold a travel presentation tomorrow at 2 p.m.

“Please come and listen to the highlight and see a film of this great trip,” said Debbie Carter of the Center. “Tour highlights of the eight days include, a choice of wildlife float trip or whitewater rafting on Snake River, Jackson Hole Rodeo, Grand Tetons, Old Faithful and Yellowstone National Park (the first and oldest national park in the world), Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Deadwood, Crazy Horse Memorial, Badlands National Park and Mt. Rushmore. We will also take a tour through the Mt. Rushmore Black Hills gold and diamond factory.”

Carter said those who participate will also see skilled artisans handcraft South Dakota’s official state jewelry.

“There will be a chuck wagon dinner in Custer State Park, where we will see free-roaming buffalo and bighorn sheep plus a herd of majestic elk,” she said. “Later, marvel at an illuminated Mt. Rushmore, one of the most fantastic highlights in the West, during a sound and light show. You do not want to miss this fabulous trip of a lifetime.”

Carter said trip-goers will travel through Wyoming and South Dakota from Sept. 24 through Oct. 1.

Cost is $2,899 for a double; $3,849 for a single; and $2,969 for a triple.

Price includes airfare, hotel and 12 meals.

Those who are interested but are unable to attend tomorrow’s meeting may call the center at 222-6891 by April 20.
