The Straughn Lady Tigers (3-4) junior varsity softball team defeated the Goshen Eagles 2-0 Monday night in Straughn.

 

The Lady Tigers got a stellar pitching performance from Sydney Arnett. Arnett pitched a perfect game, and struck out 12 batters.

 

Arnett only allowed two balls to even be put in play in her dominate performance.

 

“We played good,” Lady Tigers’ coach Kenny Skipper said. “When you don’t have to field many ball because of great pitching it is a good night. We do have to hit the ball better. It was a big improvement from this weekend.”

 

Morgan Bedsole and Brittney Castleberry were credited with the Lady Tigers’ RBIs.
