Thousands of Alabamians will be stepping on the scales in the coming week to do their final weigh-out for the 2015 Scale Back Alabama program.
For 10 weeks, teams of two have exercised more and worked to make their diets healthier, all with a goal of losing at least one pound per week or a total of 10 pounds during the program.
All participants must weigh out during the week of April 6 – 12 in order to be entered into the April 24 drawing for cash prizes. However, even those who have lost less than 10 pounds are encouraged to weigh out so the state’s total weight loss can be calculated.
Weigh-outs are scheduled locally at the following locations:
• Andalusia Regional Hospital
Tues. and Wed., April 7 and 8 – 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
• Covington County Health Department
23989 Alabama State Hwy 55, Andalusia
(During business hours)
• Darby’s Medical Center Pharmacy
