Lady Eagles keep rolling

The Pleasant Home Lady Eagles (8-1) knocked off the W.S. Neal Lady Eagles 3-0 Tuesday night at Pleasant Home.
Pleasant Home fell behind 2-0 to start the first, but came back to tie the game 4-4 on big score from Cassidy Godwin.
W.S. Neal then took an 8-5 lead before Pleasant Home went on a 5-0 rally to take a 10-8 lead. Pleasant Home wouldn’t let of go of the lead in the first game.
During the 5-0 rally, Pleasant Home got two points from Godwin, one point from Anna Bulger and an ace from Johnnie Forehand.
Bulger picked up a short time later, and an ace from Godwin put Pleasant Home on top 13-9.
River Baldwin got two big points to put Pleasant Home up 15-11, and Sissy Martin followed with two straight aces.
Pleasant Home went up 23-13 on two strong blocks from Godwin, and a big attack from Bulger.
Godwin finished off the match with a strong attack to give Pleasant Home a 25-15 win in game one.
W.S. Neal got off to a fast start in game two and took a 7-3 lead.
Baldwin got Pleasant Home rolling in game two with a powerful block at the net and then followed that up with two straight aces to tie the game 7-7.
After a short rally by W.S. Neal, Pleasant Home went on a 6-1 run and took a 12-11 lead off an ace from Forehand.
Baldwin increased the Pleasant Home lead 17-13 with a powerful smash off an assist from Bulger.
Bulger followed with an ace to give Pleasant Home an 18-13 advantage.
After a W.S. Neal score made the game 18-14, Pleasant Home went on a 6-0 rally with an ace from Martin, a strong point from Forehand and kill by Baldwin to take a 24-15 lead.
W.S. Neal got one more point before Baldwin capped the game off with a strong kill for a 25-16 win.
W.S. Neal never gave up and continued to battle in game three, but Pleasant Home was able to finish of the sweep with a 25-22 win.
