Herman James Earnest

Herman James Earnest, 87, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Sept. 6, 2015, at his residence.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wed., Sept. 9, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Red Level with Brother Bill Pritchett officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Earnest; his daughters and son-in-law, Susan and Walter Musgrove, Debra Roberts, and Kaylie Cheyenne Earnest; a step son, David Stephens, all of Andalusia; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his step son, Keith Stephens.

Charles “Billy” Stokes

Charles “Billy” Stokes, 83, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Sept. 8, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Fri., Sept. 11, 2015, at the Cedar Grove Church of Christ with Minister David Paher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8 tonight, Thurs., Sept. 10, at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Michelle Stokes of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Benny Bass of McEwen, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Blake Bass, Mandi Bass, Andrea Stokes, Ryan Stokes, Lindsey Edgar, Harley Edgar; and two sisters, Mildred Stokes of Prattville, Ala., and Arlene Reynolds of Deland, Fla.,

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove Church of Christ Mission fund.
