Pastor: I just obeyed God

The Good Samaritan who blessed a Sonic employee Saturday with a $100 has come forward to give God the glory.
Phillip McCollough, pastor of Red Level Assembly of God, said he planned to stay anonymous, but wanted Cheyenne Solomon to know it wasn’t a tip, but a blessing from God.
“I was on the way back from Dothan and I stopped at Sonic to get me a milkshake and I left,” he said. “I didn’t leave her a tip, but it was like the Lord was sitting next to me telling me to go back and giver her a $100.”
As Solomon said, McCollough asked her if she believed in the Lord and if she believed in miracles.
“It was nothing more than me obeying the Lord,” he said. “I wanted to let her know why I did it. It was just something that God told me to do, and obeying God is how I receive blessings.”
McCollough said he wants his church to be known as a community church and wants to give back.
