Members of the Andalusia Rotary Club on Tuesday packed 100 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a division of the international relief ministry Samaritan’s Purse.

Rotary President Anna Williams, along with club Secretary Carolyn Graham, spearheaded efforts to take on the project after hearing Cindy Harris, the volunteer project coordinator for this area, speak last month.

Rotarians packed small stuffed animals, socks, toothbrushes, pencils and pencil sharpeners, and other toiletry items in their boxes.
