ACT I will present its summer dinner theater next weekend, on Thursday and Saturday evenings.

“Sam Club, Private Eye: The Case of the Malted Falcon” takes chocolate lovers and humorists alike on a murder mystery tour. Popular ACT I actors and actresses returning the stage include Johnny Brewer, Lori Coutourie, Fran Davidson, Frank Schaffer, and Curtis Simpson. Also part of this summer’s cast are Amanda Wardle, Bronwyn Smith, and Derek Stump.

June Simpson is directing the production, with Paula Harr assisting.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning at 7. Dinner includes chicken in a creamy sherry sauce, green beans, pilaf, salad, rolls, and dessert
