Sheryl Dianna Salter Cook

Ms. Sheryl Dianna Salter Cook, age 40, of Andalusia passed away Tues., Sept. 13, at her residence.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Fri., Sept. 16, of Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen. A brother-in-law, Chris Bowman, will provide the eulogy. Keahey Funeral Home will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Crosby, Robert Harper, Christopher Bowman, Curtis Bowman, James Salter, III, and Shannon Salter.

Survivors include her mother, Sharon Harper Salter of Evergreen; sons, Billy Joe “Trey” Cook III and Madison Lane “Matt” Cook, both of Andalusia; brother, James Curtis Salter III of Evergreen; sisters, Sharon Lorraine Bush, Donna Jeanne Bowman, and Sharon Latrell Castleberry, all of Andalusia; and a step-sister, Tonya Tarie Pipkin.

 

James Gordon Smith

Mr. James Gordon Smith, 72, of Opp, passed away Mon., Sept. 12, 2016, at his residence.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith of Opp; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Dottie Smith of Andalusia; his sister and brother-in-law, Lydia and Jeff Abram of Pensacola; two nieces, Lisa Smith and Jana Rae Ryan; a nephew, Steven Abram; and several great nieces and nephews.
