There are two games remaining in the AHSAA football season, and just four teams left in each Class 4A with No.1-ranked Andalusia Bulldogs being one of those squads.

Bulldogs, this is your time.

You have put in blood, sweat and countless hours on the practice field with a goal of bringing the state championship back to Andalusia where it rightfully belongs.

The focus that you have displayed throughout the season, but especially in the playoffs, has been on another level.

It can be easy to get caught up in all the talk about playing for a state championship, but it has to be taken one game at a time. That’s the way you have seemed to handle the season to this point, and I don’t see you changing that now.

The focus has been on Handley all week at practice, and Handley only.

Keep that focus into the game tonight Bulldogs, and the rest will take care of itself.

Don’t get caught up in trash talking, but instead let your pads do the talking once you step between the lines.

You’ve accomplished some amazing things as a team this year, but it doesn’t stop here.

All season there has been no doubt, the road to Jordan-Hare runs through Andalusia.

It’s time to defend your house Bulldogs.
